I've been holding this workshop for 11 years on Monhegan Island with clinical psychologist Molly DeLaney who provides creative visualization techniques to help participants immerse themself in the higher vibrational energy of this tiny island 10 miles off the coast of Maine. Step off the boat and back in time about 60 years, when life was simple and slower. The island is a half mile wide, by one and a half miles long and boasts the highest headlands on the East Coast at 165 ft above sea level and 12 miles of trails, as 3/4 of Monhegan Island is undeveloped, thanks to an association protecting the lands by Ted Edison in 1954, the youngest child of inventor Thomas Edison. In 2004, longtime friend and Monhegan Island summer resident Anne M. Hubert bequeathed to the Monhegan Museum the estate of painter James Fitzgerald (1889-1971), including all his art work (drawings, sketches, watercolors, oils) and his house and studio (both of which had been designed and built by Rockwell Kent and eventually acquired by Fitzgerald).
