In 1976, I was on Monhegan Island, a tiny island in Maine for the Bicentennial and subsequently painted
"The Island Children".
Happy 236th birthday America. This 20 x 24 oil on wood panel, formally requested by the Monhegan Museum, will eventually go home again.©1978
