Come and join us as we paint on the tiny island of Monhegan, Maine 12 miles out to sea and one of the most charming islands in Penobscot Bay.

There are two workshop offerings this year, a 5 day intensive with J.R. Baldini (Jacq) and clinical psychologist Molly Delaney,Psy.D that will address the visualization and exercise of painting en plein air.

You know how sometimes it takes a day or two after traveling to a location for you to really get into the zone of painting ? Molly's sessions can replicate the mind set of day three of painting as you begin your workshop. This sets the tone for confidence, excitement,visualization and creativity for the workshop.

April 1st one day only...come with a friend and enjoy a mini holiday in the middle of winter in my studio with a cozy fire and tons of genuine inspiration to fire your creativity !

I often have people stop and watch me paint & most times tell me they wish they could paint or want me to know they could never draw anything but a stick figure. Bet you may have had that happen, too. The myth is, this is what people have been told - the truth is everyone is creative and everyone can use creativity to better their lives.

The "Day in an Artist's Studio" is one of the most different workshops that I offer. I base the workshop on the experience...
First, starting with actually working at my studio, then engaging a relaxing, informal atmosphere with a cozy fire in the fireplace, soft inspirational music, a colorful & interesting subject to work from...then add in the opportunity to paint with M. Graham fabulous oil paints and we'll be serving a light lunch & perhaps enjoy a cup or two of gourmet coffee or tea. In this relaxing atmosphere,conducive to creativity, you will also receive the instruction and encouragement to be able to paint your own oil painting, whether or not you've ever picked up a brush before. This workshop is all about the experience and the realization that you can utilize any form of creativity to communicate and reduce stress in your everyday life.
