 One of the most common struggles I see in workshops is...
how to make water lie flat in your painting.
Here's a TIP : realize when you are painting what you see as the bottom of the rocks or ground, that you are not painting the base of either. People tend to have the bottom of the shape follow the perspective to the horizon line. But, because you are not painting the base, rather you are painting the water line and since water always levels itself, you're painting a horizontal surface and the base of the rock or ground is below the water line. Remembering this, and overlapping as you come forward are two things that will make your water look more realistic.                                J.R. Baldini

Plein Air means 'painting on site in the open air'. Jacq has elevated plein air into the art of seeing your environment through how it makes you FEEL. You don't have to be an artist to paint from the soul or to visually express what you feel. You just have to answer your own deep desire to see and feel your world through new eyes.

Our beautiful Enlightened Feelings gardens and property is the ideal place to feel your heart and soul in a profound new way. This workshop is a spectacular way to truly become one with nature and see it through new eyes. Jacq will help you access your inner creative self in a picturesque setting bursting with the vibrant energies of colour, scent and sound. Feel, sense, hear, inhale. You'll be at one with magical garden divas and tree spirits, uplifting songbirds, healing flowers and herbs, a peaceful meandering brook, and graceful towering willow trees.

$80 Includes HST, materials and instruction. Jacqui will supply 1 canvas, paint, and use of brushes. Enlightened Feelings will provide flower essence samples to help you be One With Nature. Feel free to bring your own art supplies. Bring a chair and an easel (or something to prop your canvas at an angle such as a loose leaf binder or wooden board), as well as something to cover your clothing from paint, and a bag lunch or snacks.
